Couple of recent speedpaints
I did these quick paintings today and yesterday evening, no more than 1/2 an hour on each. I prefer the top one.. very 'Victorian Christmas' ..or something. Warm colours all round really, I wanna do some paintings in the morning for balance too and different lighting..but whether I can be up for then remains to be seen... I WILL TRY.

Recent Sketchbook Stuff
Oh god I've not updated for a while. I won't get in a panic, though, it's not like I've ever updated frequently. Here's some sketchbook pages, with the ring-binders and everything, warts and all. I think Christmas means more proper location drawing. I'll fix that soon, hopefully. In the next few days I'll be uploading some recent life-drawing too.
edit: I realise the image sizes are pretty big, and people sometimes complain about that, but I like it that way, you can see drawings properly. It's not as if people are still using dial-up or anything. Tell me what you think.

Happy Father's Day!
Here's my Dad, up and about, like he usually is, off on a morning walk, exploring. He'd go barefoot if he could. Bugger socks. I'll keep it short and sweet because he already knows everything I could say. I'll just say although I've not seen as much of him this year, what I've taken away with me from him I can't thank him enough for, how he's taught me. And other things like clapping my hands together when there's something to be done and discarding socks at the first chance. Have a great day Dad!

Happy Mother's Day
Here in England today it's Mother's Day, and here's what I'm giving to Mum. Don't usually paint digitally, but I managed to do this without too hating photoshop too much. The immediacy with picking colours has started to come to me too.
Anyway the most important thing with this is that she likes it, and it means something to give her a picture of home now I can't be there so much.
